Don’t Click Play is Ava Max’s third album. It follows her singles “Spot a Fake” and “My Oh My,” which were intended for the release but didn’t make the cut. After cancelling her fall tour in July 2025, Max disappeared from social media, anticipating the project without a conventional roll-out. In the meantime, she changed her management and collaborators. She confessed that she “almost lost [herself] with the transition.”
